Worst Job Posting of the Week?

In this economy, with millions of Americans still out of work, it's safe to say that many will do anything for gainful employment. The question often is, "How far are you willing to go?"

A Solicitation for Services posted by the U.S. State Department this week seems to be asking that very same question. In what is surely the worst job posting of the past week--maybe even the last two weeks... The State Department is seeking bids from contractors for "cleaning and janitorial services."

Contractor responsibilities include: cleaning all designated exterior space and surrounding property, maintaining publicly accessible restrooms, and the removal of all trash and debris from the grounds.

The one year , fixed rate contract is for services at the US Embassy in Yemen...

Yes, THAT Yemen.

According to the requisition, the Embassy will provide trash receptacles, but the Contractor must provide its own personal protective equipment and "...shall include but is not restricted to latex gloves, mask, etc."

Body armor is, apparently, optional.
