Talking Points: Declassified CIA Communications in the Aftermath of Benghazi


 Remember those "Talking Points"?  



Declassified CIA communications from September 14, 2012 -- 2 days after the Benghazi attack -- show the Administration's behind-the-scenes efforts to craft a response... 





And YES,...there is mention of Al Qaeda's involvement...  




The sense of urgency to avert an impending media storm can be felt throughout 100 page email exchange



In just a matter of hours, the CIA coordinated with the White House, FBI, DOJ, the State Department, and others. 

The CIA documents reveal a multi-agency blitz to construct a strategic PR response to the Benghazi attack.





Unfortunately, the Administration only seems to employ such well-orchestrated tactical maneuvers when it needs to save its own ass. 

Perhaps if these agencies had put forth the same effort when providing security at the Embassy in Benghazi...
